As usual, the best way to update is through posting a gazillion pictures...so grab some popcorn and enjoy :)
Last week, we met up with one of my friends from high school, Brett. Oh...how do I describe Brett? Quirky...crazy...cute as a button, to name a few adjectives. I love her. We were in drill team together and quickly formed a bond that has withstood going off to college and even her living in Spain for the past 2 years. Since she is Jewish, she came over to my house once during our junior year to decorate our Christmas tree :) And, I attended a couple of her shabbatt (sp?) dinners with her family. Even though we have different faiths, we both respect each other, which I think is super cool. She's only met Ryan twice now, but they've totally hit it off, and she definitely approves of him...shocker. :)

On Saturday night, we went out to dinner for my mother-in-law Gail's birthday. We went to Brio, an Italian restaurant in the new Allen shops, and it was a-mazing! I am still talking about the salmon I had. We got her a pretty cobalt blue vase that she was wanting, and I think she really liked it! I was more impressed with my exquisite gift wrapping job if I do say so myself. After dinner we walked over to Cheesecake Factory (don't even get me started on how much cheesecake we've had this summer) and got cheesecake to go. It was a super fun night, and I swear I'm going back to Brio someday...when I have a million dollars.
On Sunday night, we celebrated my cousin Christen's 21st birthday. Technically we won't really celebrate it until next Thursday when we leave for VEGAS!!!!! But, we got the whole family together and had a great time catching up. My cousin Hunter (the cutest ring bearer ever) was a hoot.
And now for the best sequence ever... Hunter wanted me to take some crazy pictures of him, so this is how he posed. He's precious.
